The School Greenhouse is 21'7" wide, 30'3" long and has a 6'0" high straight section on the outside walls. The original house has no gutter but can be gutter connected at a later date to make a 7'6" clearance under the gutter. The frame is constructed of heavy 'true' 2-inch diameter structural steel tube, galvanized inside and outside with the posts and arches on 6' centers. The frame is complete with one (1) ridge purlin and six (6) additional purlins to strengthen the house and support the polycarbonate structured sheet.
The School Greenhouse Package includes the following parts, equipment and glazing:

• CCA pressure treated 2'x8' wood baseboard with installation hardware;
• All posts, hoops, end wind braces, heavy welded slip fittings, other fittings and nuts and bolts for assembly;
• Endwall framing for both fan and pad ends, complete with 3 endwall posts per end, not 2 posts as most other companies;
• Horizontal girts on 5' or closer centers on the 2 endwalls;
• Metal support and framing for equipment;
• 8mm Solar Grade polycarbonate structured sheets for roof and sidewalls;
• 8mm Solar Grade polycarbonate structured sheets for endwalls;

Solar Grade is a co-extruded polycarbonate structured sheet which provides excellent diffused light transmission combined with the best insulation of any of the typically used greenhouse glazings. These properties combined with long life, fire resistance, high impact strength, resists hail, wind and vandalism damage, and excellent appearance, provide a glazing which is unsurpassed for school applications.

• Aluminum extrusions for attaching and joining the Polygal sheets to roof and sidewalls;
• Polycarbonate extrusions used on endwalls;
• Flashing or extrusion around door, vents, exhaust fan and at roof to endwall connections, with necessary screws, point fasteners, sealing profile for base of all sheets.

Heating and cooling equipment for the greenhouse is sized in accordance with the guidelines of the National Greenhouse Manufacturers Association and Acme Engineering for this greenhouse size and the Oklahoma climate. The heating system is sized to maintain 65 degrees Fahrenheit with a 20 mph wind at 5 degrees outside temperature.
The cooling system is designed to move enough evaporative cooled air through the greenhouse to maintain an environment that promotes plant growth. Shade cloth is a necessary option that reduces heat gain in the greenhouse if your program includes growing during the summertime.
Kit includes the following equipment:

• DCA36G two speed Acme Exhaust Fan in slantwall housing complete with inlet and outlet guard;
• Automatic shutter for ventilation;
• Fifteen (15) 3' tall, 4" thick Kool-Cel pads;
• Aluminum Distribution and Return System;
• Plumbing completer kit;
• Sump Pump;
• HD100 Modine Natural Gas Heater complete with double wall exhaust flue stack.

A standard 3' wide welded aluminum door glazed with 8mm Polygal. The temperature is also automatically controlled with necessary relays and environmental thermostats.
The School Greenhouse Package provides 653 sq. ft. of growing space and comes complete with easy to follow step by step installation instructions. The base price excludes a sump tank (a required item), and equipment disconnect switches (a suggested item). No concrete, electrical or mechanical work is provided.
